Nope! After you set it up, your phone will pair with it as soon as you start the car every time.
You can use any of your phones, but if you have both in the car, it will connect to the latest paired one.
Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works solely on WiFi from that point on.

- Ensure that the data cable used is original or MFI certified data line (emphasis)
- Enter the settings – advanced settings – charging mode – set to weak (turn off the phone charging)
- Check if the car machine has a USB protocol version, and if so, choose 2.0.

- Check if the mobile phone has open access restriction, the mobile phone WIFI status is confirmed to be on, and if there is a missed click “Enable Wireless Carplay” when connecting to Bluetooth. Click the “exclamation point” of the Bluetooth name on the phone to select the Carplay icon.
3, re-pair the phone
To delete the pairing method: 1. Click “WIFI icon” in the upper left corner of the product main interface and press and hold the phone name to delete. 2. Ignore the current Bluetooth name on the phone.
Wireless connection method: 1. Name of the mobile phone Bluetooth search device. The name of the device is displayed under the Bluetooth icon in the upper left corner of the software. 2. The pairing code is 0000 3. The mobile terminal pops up, select “Enable wireless CarPlay” 4. If there is a pop-up lock screen, use Carplay. Point permission
4, restart the phone
If your models are in our compatible vehicles list, then there is no doubt that the unit works with this models.
If not, make sure that two points, then the unit supports your model.
1.There’s already wired Apple-Carplay installed from the factory or upgraded through your dealer and you’re getting its functions.
2.There is a USB-A port in your car model.
Note: The product supports most 98% models which is with wired Apple-Carplay andUSB-A port, but it’s not all. We will further test more models and collect more market feedback to improve the list of supported models.

1.Plug the adapter to your car USB port
2.Using iphone connect to WIFI and bluetooth of the adapter.
Note: CarPlay transfers the data via WiFi, not Bluetooth. BT is only used for the handshake to let the CarPlay enabled device know that it’s present, it then switches to WiFi for all data transfer.
1.Turn on Bluetooth and wifi.
After plugging the device into USB port of car, turn on Bluetooth and wifi. Then select the iPhone’s Bluetooth signal in your car, connect to your iPhone. The red light will flash which means the device is connecting.
2.Pair and use CarPlay.
Then the pairing information will pop on the iPhone, click “Pair”. Bluetooth is connected, then the information will pop on the iPhone,click “Use CarPlay”. And the wifi is also connected to the car automatically. After connected successfully, the light will turn to green.
3.Keep CarPlay “on” before connecting to your car.
Before you connect, please keep the CarPlay “on” in your car and iPhone. Check is the CarPlay opened in your iPhone, turn to Settings>>General>>CarPlay
4.Change “Region” to get CarPlay in “General” Menu.
If you can’t see the “CarPlay” in the “General” menu, please reset the “Region”. Turn to Settings>>General>>Language & Region>>Region
Yes, it works every iPhone 5 (running iOS 9+) and newr systems.

There are easy to follow 4 steps to convert your factory wired carplay to wireless. No need to plug in and out the data cable to connect phone when you get on the car!
1.As a plug-and-play solution, the Carlinkit adapter is very easy to install.
2.Plug the wireless carplay adapter into the car USB port. Wait for the interface to appear on the screen.
3.Open wifi networks and bluetooth. Make sure your phone is not connected to any other WiFi or Bluetooth networks.
4.Select “Pair” on your phone when the notification appears.
NOTE:You can also search for the iPhone’s Bluetooth name on the car screen, to pair and connect.

1.How to use the dongle on the Android car stereo ?
For the car have android version Navigation stereo,you can plug the dongle to your car USB port directly after install the AutoKit on the car screen, and then connect the iPhone with the dongle and click AutoKit to go to CarPlay interface.
2.How to use the dongle on the Android Tablet ?
For the car do not have android version Navigation stereo. You can plug the dongle to your Android Tablet after install the AutoKit on the tablet(You should use a USB Adapter to keep the dongle was charging) , then connect the iPhone with the dongle and click AutoKit to go to CarPlay interface.
Note: It’s similar to Android auto.
The address downloading APK
Method 1: Download the APK on Car Browser.
1.Click the browser on the car, enter the URL, and download APK.(Your car must Connect Network.)
2.Click the “Download Directory” to find the downloaded APK file, then install it.
Method 2: Download the APK on your computer, copy it to a USB flash drive and install.
1.Enter the URL on your computer browser, download the APK, and copy it to a USB flash drive.
2.Insert the U disk into the USB interface of the car, find the U disk directory in the “File Manager”, then install it.
1.Inserting the CarPlay Dongle to your car.
2.Turn on the Wifi and then Bluetooth.
3.Searching the Bluetooth and then enter the pin (0000).
1.Upgrade APK:
Please unplug the dongle first and then enter the APK settings, find the “check upgrade” button, and then you will see the prompt of the latest version and then click update, the APK is updated.
2. Upgrade dongle:
Plug in the dongle to the car, then enter the APK settings, find “check upgrade”, you will see the latest box version, and then click Update.
Speed mode uses 60FPS hard solution, Fluent mode uses 30FPS hard solution, and compatibility mode uses 24FPS soft solution.
1.The car has two USB, whether whether all test.
2.The mobile phone data cable needs original or good quality.
3.Open the APK first, then insert the product. See if there is any identification.
4.Open the upper left corner and select Compatible.
5.Take the navigation machine apart. Two USB cable pairs are adjusted.

The box microphone is a built-in part of the microphone, and the box microphone is set when the car microphone cannot be used.
